Happy Friday!
The friends worked hard in the blocks today! We love creating in the blocks! As the children create in the blocks, they are learning valuable foundational math skills.
We then worked together to take down our castle.
We used the big boxes to make new creations!
Before we went to the gym, we worked to take all of the boxes out to the recycling.
We then had fun in the gym!
Mrs. Buchholz's daughter came in to observe our class today! She wants to be a teacher someday too!
During small group time, we played a castle game to increase our quantifying, counting, and one to one correspondence.
We then painted with out watercolors!
Once the castle was down, we moved our room around. We made the block area bigger since the children love to create in the blocks.
During Jesus time we learned the story of Jesus riding in to Jerusalem as found in Matthew 21:1-11. We learned that Jesus is our King of kings. He is the Lord of heaven and earth, who has saved us from our sin!!
