Happy Valentine's Party day!

For check in this morning, the children who chose to bring in Valentine cards distributed them into their friends' bags!

The children continue to assign roles during our castle play.  This is a sign of mature play, and mature play is when cognitive development happens!

We had a lot of fun running and playing on the big playground!

During morning meeting, we played a movement game that helped us remember the letters, their sounds, and then we thought of a word that began with that sound.  Adding movement increases activity in the brain which increases the memory of the game!

We also learned a silly new song that helps us rhyme!

Mrs. Mudd came over and led our party today!  I went to Mrs. Mudd's room and led the party for her class!

Thank you so much for all of the parent/family volunteers that came to help with our party!!

Free choice play

During Jesus time we read the story of Jesus blessing the children.  We learned that Jesus will always love us no matter what.  We played a game to help remind us of that too!
