Happy Tuesday!
Just a reminder that school will end at 12:00 tomorrow.
The friends were very excited to play in the doctor office this morning!
As they played, they used new vocabulary including patients, receptionist, and prescription. I wonder what other new words the friends will learn!
We then headed outside!
During chapel this morning, Mr. Nelson, the Director of Christian Education at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran came and showed us a very special blanket that his grandmother made for him. He tried to make one for us by throwing balls of yarn in the air. As you guessed, it didn't work! He then told us that just like the blanket was carefully woven together, we too are carefully made by God! God loves us so much that He sent Jesus, His son, to die on the cross and rise again to save us!
Back in the classroom, Ms. Julie, from the library, visited us! She read us five funny books! We each voted for our favorite book at the end. Be sure to ask your child to tell you his/her favorite book!
After Ms. Julie visited, we had time for free choice.
Julia made a list of things we need for our doctor office. :)
Some friends played in the magnetic tiles.
We were then able to go outside again!
