Welcome back to another week of school!
This morning the friends were eager to create.
Hunter worked hard to figure out how to make his own elephant trunk.
Some of the friends made a fire in our outdoor center.
Working together in the blocks
Joey shared his s'more with Anabelle. He tried to feel it to her with an elephant trunk. We all thought it was pretty funny. :)
Outside!
During small group time we went on a bird watch. The friends strengthened their understanding of one to one correspondence as they wrote one line for each bird that they saw. We also made observations about nature on our walk!
Back in the classroom we worked in small groups to count our lines. We also wrote the number of lines!
We then went on a nature hunt! We checked various items off of the list that we saw.
Second free choice
Reading with Ms. Emma
Many of the friends made nature items for our classroom.
Some of the firends worked to make birds for our trees.
Anabelle cut leaves for our waterfall.
Hunter worked hard to write a promise to his friends.
Boat play
Making a bridge
Working with pattern blocks
Watering our flowers
Working together to build a ramp
During Jesus time we learned the story of Pentecost. We learned that when Jesus' body left the earth at Ascension, He promised to send a helper- the Holy Spirit! Because of the gift of faith through the Holy Spirit we know that we are forgiven children of God. We will live forever in heaven with Him!
