This is our last week of school.  Thank you for a great school year!  I am very thankful for the opportunity to work with each of your families.

Please remember that Thursday, May 28th is our last day of school.  There is no preschool on Friday. (This is different than the 1-8 grades as they have school on Friday.)

This morning Kiera showed her mom and sister how we do our morning meetings!

Anabelle and Isaac worked together in the explore on the floor center to create a beautiful rock design.

Mrs. Buchholz's daughter, Linnea, visited our classroom today.  She wants to be a preschool teacher someday!  The children loved playing with Ms. Linnea and getting to know her!

Creating in the blocks

It was still too wet this morning for us to go outside, so we had a fun time playing in the Commons.

Throughout the school year the friends have been making their own kites at the art center.  Today, the children made kites out of plastic bags.  We talked about safety with the bags. (Don't put them on your face, don't put them on your head, don't wrap them around your neck, etc.) We then added stickers to our kites!

We then went outside to fly our kites!

Back in the classroom we enjoyed second free choice time.

During Jesus time we sang a silly song about sharing God's love with other people.  We them learned John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son (JESUS) that whosoever believes in Him will live forever in heaven!"  I told the friends that is the most important things that they need to remember from preschool.  Jesus is our Savior and He loves us very much!!
