Ms. Emma brought a tent for us to use in the classroom! We took a moment from free choice to vote where to put the tent. We decided to put it in the outdoor center!
Outdoor play
During small group time we practiced number recognition and counting as they played a game with the spinners and teddy bears.
We worked with the balances. We attempted to balance various items in the explore on the floor center. We documented our findings on clipboards!
We also practiced quantifying and visual discrimination as we played dominoes together!
During second free choice time we had a lot of fun playing and exploring in the new tent!
During Jesus time, we learned the story of Peter and John healing a crippled man as found in Acts 3:1-10. We learned that because of sin, our bodies are not perfect. However, because of Jesus' death and resurrection on the cross, we will be made perfect in heaven!
