Even though it was kind of rainy today, we had a great day in school!
We began the day playing in our new 'pretend preschool' center!
Mr. Debrick came and joined in the fun too!
We also loved working our fine motor skills as we ripped the paper of of the straws in our sensory table!
We noticed that some letters were missing from our letter spots in our pretend school, so naturally we wrote letters for our letter spots! Because this writing is child-initiated, it is more meaningful to the children.
We also wrote signs for the pretend preschool center!
Of course we created in the block center too!
Then it was time for our party! We began reading two of our favorite books- Room on the Broom and There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves
We played a Fall Bingo game with Mrs. Mudd.
Then we painted a pumpkin!
Finally, we played toss across with Mrs. Elizabeth! Thank you Elizabeth for helping with the party today!
After the party, we had time for indoor recess. We switched between our room and Ms. Keane's room during indoor recess. Look at all of the fun things we did!
During Jesus time, we learned that our God is powerful! He pushed back the waters so Moses and the Israelites could walk on dry land! Our God is so powerful that He sent His son, Jesus, to die on the cross and rise again to save us from our sins! All of our sins are washed away!
