Happy Friday!
If you are looking for a place to worship over the weekend,
you are always welcome here at Zion!
We have services Saturday evening at 5:00 and Sunday morning at 8:00,
9:30, and 11:00. See you there!
We loved using the estimation jar to help us check in! Not only does this activity promote writing skills, but it also promotes foundational math skills such as comparing and counting!
Devereux checked to see if he was taller than a
penguin.
Jacob practiced his writing skills as he took notes during an office
meeting.
Many friends explored ramps this morning too! Ramps provide a great entry point for
problem solving and perseverance!
During morning meeting we practiced identifying letters as we played Tricky Mouse!
During small group time we enjoyed dancing together to get
some wiggles out and develop large motor strength and control!
We used q-tips to make snowflakes.
We then strengthened our fine motor skills with Ms. Emma as
we made snowflakes together!
The friends then explored graphs with me. We voted for the type of weather that
was our favorite and wrote our name on the graph to represent our vote. We used comparative words including
less, more, and equal as we investigated the graph together. We also
investigated a different type of graph-a pie graph. We discussed the similarities and differences between the
two graphs.
Indoor recess fun!
During Jesus time we learned that we are growing-just like
Jesus grew! We learned how we are
growing in our bodies, in our friendships, but most important we are growing in
God’s love! He loved us so much
that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to save us from our sins!
