Welcome back for another great week of school!  I pray that you were all safe on the roads this morning.  It may have taken longer than usual, but praise God we all made it safely to school.  :)

Morning free choice.
(Thank you Mrs. Kuhlmann for helping in our room this morning!)

Due to the ice, we headed to the commons to play! We are so thankful for a space to run and play!!

During small group time, we started working on our own advent wreaths!

We also practiced matching upper and lower case letters on the SMARTboard.

We practiced ordering biggest to smallest.  Once we ordered biggest to smallest, we used the paper to make a Christmas tree!

Second free choice time.

Joey worked hard to draw a picture of his creation in the block center. This is a great way to practice writing skills and engage in meaningful writing.

During Jesus time, we learned about the Advent wreath!  We learned that Advent is a season of waiting and preparation.  We read the story of Jesus birth, and learned that Jesus was born to be our Savior!  When he died on the cross and rose again, He paid the price for all of our sins.  Because of His death and resurrection, we are able to live eternally with Him in heaven!
