We had another great day in school today!
This morning the children got straight to work making presents for their friends and family.
Some of the friends played dogs together this morning!
Megan chose to read the bible. :)

Then it was time for our Christmas party! Thank you Heidi for your help during the party!
For snack, we put icing on our very own "Christmas tree." We then added sprinkles for the ornaments!
We then read this book. We remembered that the star is important because it led the wise men and shepherds to Jesus!
We then made our own shining star to remind us to always follow Jesus!
We made Christmas play doh to take home too!

We had a lot of fun playing pin the star on the Christmas tree!
During second free choice, we had fun decorating a snow man on the SMARTboard!

We worked to wrap the presents for our parents too! Please check your child's folder for a special gift from your child!
During Jesus time, we lit three of the candles on our Advent wreath! The children helped retell the story of Christmas with picture prompts. They remember that Jesus' birth is important because He was born to die on the cross and rise again to save us from our sins!
