Check out some of the highlights from our day!
This morning as we were exploring in our sand table, we had some questions about the plastic centipede. We wrote down the questions we had, and decided to look up the answers during morning meeting.
We explored pictures of centipedes on the SMARTboard and read some information on centipedes; we discovered that centipedes can have anywhere from 20 to more than 300 legs!
Engaging children in their thoughts and questions provides an opportunity to foster curiosity and the love of learning!

During Jesus time, we reviewed the story of Joshua and the battle of Jericho. We remembered that our God is powerful! We praised God for saving us by sending His son Jesus to die on the cross and rise again!
We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather outside today!
While outside the past few days, the children have been digging for worms. Tomorrow we will make a worm habitat and hopefully collect a worm or two for the habitat. We will venture outside in the rain tomorrow for a few short minutes to collect worms as long as there is no thunder or lightening.
We asked questions about worms today to help us as we investigate worms tomorrow. The children did a fantastic job asking questions!
