Check out some of the highlights from our day!

We played a fun Wiggle Worm game today!  The children each drew a card from the tub.  The card either had a number, letter, shape, or worm on it.  The children identified the number, letter, or shape.  If the card had a wiggle worm, the children shouted, "WIGGLE WORM!" and the rest of the friends wiggled on their letter spot.  When it was time for the wiggling to be over, I said, "Here comes the bird!" and the children sat back down.  This game is a great way to review letters, numbers, and shapes as well as a way to get out some wiggles!

We then went to chapel where Mr. Kuhlman showed us his packed suitcase for vacation.  He reminded us that no matter where we go, Jesus will protect and take care of us!!

We explored REAL WORMS.  The children were able to touch the worm (if they wanted), look at the worm, and make observations about the worm.

We then drew a picture of our worm and wrote a descriptive sentence about the worm.  We noticed that the worms liked to hide in the dark, and that they stretched out when they wiggled!

We painted using fishing worms today too!  This activity helps refine fine motor skills and express creativity.

As always, we enjoyed the beautiful weather outside!!
