Check out some of the highlights from our day!
(I apologize because I did not take very many pictures today.)

We had fun creating at the creating table today!  Allowing children to create and explore with no boundaries provides an opportunity to engage children in creative thinking!  Creative thinking is a higher level thinking skill and can lead to further cognitive development!

The children worked together to create in the LEGOs!  They used positive conflict resolution to resolve their problems together.  Conflict resolution is a social skill that will benefit the children throughout their lives!

Some of the children created a fun fishing game!

Mrs. Smith's class visited and we sang songs together on the guitar!

We went to chapel where Ms. Anderson talked to us about temptation.  She reminded us that even is we make a bad choice, Jesus will forgive us!

We practiced sorting beans today! As you know by now, sorting is a foundational math skill!

We also worked on making butterflies today!   The children used their fine motor skills to stamp paint on their butterfly wings.

The friends' whose butterflies were dry finished making their butterflies!

We also worked on a TOP SECRET gift for our moms today! (No pictures of the secret.  :) )

We LOVED playing outside in the beautiful weather!  Praise God for the beautiful day!
