We have had such a fantastic year.  I am so thankful for each of your children, and I am also thankful for your support and love throughout the year!

The last day of preschool is Wednesday, May 21.  Please note that there is no school lunch program next week.  Please be sure to pack a sack lunch for your child next week.

Join us for "Popsicles at the Park" on Thursday, May 22 from 9:00 - 11:00 am at Laurel Park.  Just to clarify, if your child would like to come and play on this day, a parent, grandparent, etc. needs to be in attendance the entire time your child is at the park.  Come and play with your preschool friends and enjoy some yummy popsicles to kick off the summer!

We had a lot of fun today!  One of our most recent things to play together is "What if I smiled like this?" and then make a silly face.  You will notice the silly faces in the pictures on the blog today!  :)

Check out the cooperation in the magnatiles today!  The friends did a fantastic job working together to problem solve and cooperate!

The writing center was popular this morning!  Many friends made kites!  We decided that we should make kites as a class next week.

During morning meeting we played a game that we haven't played in a very long time!  Tricky Mouse! This game is a fun way to encourage letter development and recalling skills!

Another way to encourage the friend's engagement is our fun puppets!  Scout the Bee came and helped us play Tricky Mouse today!

We read this silly book too!  Our friends love this book!

We had fun dancing and stretching our bodies to prepare for our small group time!

We played a fun game today during small group time!  The children rolled dice and stepped the same amount of steps away from the bucket.  Then, they tossed bean bags into the bucket.  This activity provides an opportunity to practice counting, quantifying, one to one correspondence, and hand eye coordination!

We discovered magnetic items in bottles together too!

We continued to play tricky mouse together too!

We also created in the blocks!

We had fun outside playing pirate ship together!

We were SO EXCITED to go to the main school building for lunch!  The friends were chanting, "We're going to High School" all the way to the main school building.  :)

During Jesus time we learned how God sent an angel to save Peter when he was put in jail for telling others about God.  We learned that God saves us too!  He sent Jesus to die on the cross and save us from our sins!!
