Happy Thursday!

We have had such a fantastic year.  I am so thankful for each of your children, and I am also thankful for your support and love throughout the year!

The last day of preschool is Wednesday, May 21.  Please note that there is no school lunch program next week.  Please be sure to pack a sack lunch for your child next week.

Join us for "Popsicles at the Park" on Thursday, May 22 from 9:00 - 11:00 am at Laurel Park.  Just to clarify, if your child would like to come and play on this day, a parent, grandparent, etc. needs to be in attendance the entire time your child is at the park.  Come and play with your preschool friends and enjoy some yummy popsicles to kick off the summer!

Sammie investigated the magnets this morning!

Violet took notes of what everyone chose to play this morning.  This is a great opportunity to engage in meaningful writing practice!

Some of the friends helped me roll the yarn into balls to make it easier for us to use!

Look at the fun with the magna-tiles!

Exploring ramps!

Violet and Brynne cooked delicious meals for each other too!

Our friends love to make kites!

Hunter used the blocks to measure his kite.  He remembered to start at the bottom.

"This kite is six blocks long!" he told me when he was done.  Great job Hunter!

During morning meeting we played a game that we haven't played in a very long time!  Tricky Mouse! This game is a fun way to encourage letter development and recalling skills!  One way to encourage the friend's engagement is our fun puppets!  Scout the Bee came and helped us play Tricky Mouse today!

Wow!  Our Principal for the day, Isabella, came to visit us!  How special!

And our awesome Principal Mr. Debrick came too!

We played a fun game today during small group time!  The children rolled dice and stepped the same amount of steps away from the bucket.  Then, they tossed bean bags into the bucket.  This activity provides an opportunity to practice counting, quantifying, one to one correspondence, and hand eye coordination!

We discovered magnetic items in bottles together too!

We continued to play tricky mouse together too!

We also created in the blocks!

We were SO EXCITED to go to the main school building for lunch!  The friends were chanting, "We're going to High School" all the way to the main school building.  :)

During Jesus time we learned how God sent an angel to save Peter when he was put in jail for telling others about God.  We learned that God saves us too!  He sent Jesus to die on the cross and save us from our sins!!
