Preschool is the perfect time to learn life impacting social skills such as making friends and navigating friendships, conflict resolution, and taking turns and sharing.

A huge thank you to Mr. Brauchle who brought in tubes to enhance our block play! Block play lays a strong foundation for future math learning.

Today Mrs. Thomson's third grade class came to do some projects with us! Cooperative learning with children of a different age and skill level benefits all children involved.  It allows the children a chance to practice leadership skills, patience, cooperation, and it fosters the love of learning.   It also helps create relationships within our fantastic school!

First we worked with uor third grade buddies to create a collaborative picture.

We then explored magnets together.

We enjoyed reading with our third grade buddies too!

We then finished our pictures for our grandparents!

We also practiced writing words in our journals!

Due to the strong winds outside, we had indoor recess today.  Because we understand that exercise and large motor activity aer important and can help increase cognition, we created an obstacle course for the children!

Of course they had the option of playing in either classroom too!

During Jesus time we reviewed the story of Jesus healing the ten lepers.  We added to our praise and thanks paper too!  We praise God because He is so good!  He send Jesus to die on the cross and rise again to save us from our sins!
