The friends worked hard to create with the blocks this morning!

We were also very excited to read some new big books!

Boat play

What a beautiful day outside!

During small group time we practiced counting, quantifying, and one to one correspondence as we made our own bird feeders.  The friends rolled a dice to see how many cheerios to add to their feeder.  They then counted out that same number onto their bird feeder.

We also created in the explore on the floor center.

With me, we worked to make our own nature trail around the classroom.

We discussed where the trail should go and how we would know how to follow the trail.

Some of the friends wanted to move the trail that we created yesterday, so we did.  :)

We also made various animal signs for our trail!

During free choice play the friends enjoyed using the new animals signs to enhance their play!

Crayon Store!  Free crayons!

Bryson and Hunter worked very hard to create this intricate structure.  They shared their ideas and resolved their conflicts with one another.  Great work!

During Jesus time, we learned the story of Peter and John healing a crippled man as found in Acts 3:1-10.  We learned that because of sin, our bodies are not perfect.  However, because of Jesus' death and resurrection on the cross, we will be made perfect in heaven!
